Shadow crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Easter Sunday,
April 14, 2006. She had been new to Safe Place and had
only two wonderful weeks with John H. She had for the
first time in her twelve years, been taken on two trips
to the mountains where she had a delightful time
exploring new sights, sounds and smells. Shadow's last
weeks were in a home where she received compassionate
care from John and his extended family, and where she
became friends with Rose, John's dog, Being part of
this caring foster family brought Shadow the best two
weeks of her life!
